HEGINS - Marie Elizabeth Klouser, 85, of Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center and formerly of Hegins, died Sat. Jan. 18, 2003, at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Pottsville.
born Nov. 12, 1917 in Lykens Twp., she was the daughter of the late Darius and Ida Witmer Wiest. She was a retired janitor of the former Philmark Manufacturing Company in Valley View and a member of the Zion Lutheran (Klinger's) Church in Erdman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Klouser; a son, Kermit and two brothers, Raymond and Elwood Wiest.Surviving are two sons, Charles Kloiuser of Hegins and Dennis Klouser of Reinholds; two sisters, Elsie Gradwell of Elizabethville and Irene Teacher of Harrisburg; and one grandson.
Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. at Buffington - Reed Funeral Home in Valley View. Burial will be in Church of God Cemetery in Valley View.
